A note on version numbers

The 0.9.x is the pre-release Jam version. There will be more patch updates to fix bugs, but no new story content and no new characters or backgrounds. The main menu is currently missing, and that is a bug that will be fixed. The missing third cutey will not be fixed in this line.

The 0.9.1 release added a new achievement, but this was part of a bug fix to make a good ending easier to get the achievement for. A tester got a good ending, but disappointed the parents, so didn’t get the achievement. Disappointing parents is now a separate achievement, with the default (no achievement) being that your parents are reasonably happy with things.

Had we hit the feature-complete milestone before the end of the jam, we would have had a 1.0 line. We missed that, so we’ll never have a 1.0 line.

We will, however, be having a 1.1 line. This is the post-jam version. It looks like this will include the third cutey. This will expand the story and add at least four new ending achievements, but possibly remove the current poly achievement.

Once the first 1.1 version is available, the last of the 0.9.x line will be uploaded with “JAM Version” added to the filenames. At this time, 1.1.x version will be the only ones properly marked with their platforms. This is so folks can still get the Jam version if downloaded directly, but when using the Itch app it will only download the newest version (which, realistically, is what most people should want).

Speaking of the third cutey, she (pronouns she/they) is an aromantic allosexual. Similarly to Candide, you have the option to be really horrible to her, but if you do, she won’t just disappear.
